Admiral Morgan

Pirate Lord of Lake Huron

The only child of Sir Henry Morgan Esquire, Lord High Admiral & Governor of Jamaica, Morgan was schooled in medicine, arts, and languages back in her father's country of jolly old England. Shanghaied upon her return home she became known as 'Doc Morgan' aboard the famous privateer ship the 'Scarlet Harlot'. Henry designed and commissioned the sleek, fast, and well armed 'Sea Queen' coupling it with a highly trained loyal crew, 'Captain Morgan' - the daughter emerged becoming known as the scourge of the Caribbean and the bane of the French. Henry under orders from England sent his daughter, the 'Sea Queen' and various other notorious members of the Brethren Fleet to the Michigan Colonies to wrestle control from the French and ensure the success of the English troops. Here in Michigan the Brethren have taken control of the Great Lakes and Admiral Morgan became the Pirate Lord of Lake Huron. The Admiral is usually seen in the company of the other four Pirate Lords & Hookah Joe.

Count d'Booty

Pirate Lord of Lake Michigan

Count d'Booty, the Count of Derbyshire, is master of the Merenthia Shipping Company which transports trade goods all over the world. No stranger to ships, d'Booty was shanghaied by Captain Red and put to work aboard the "Scarlet Harlot". He found that he enjoyed the carefree life so much that upon reaching port he joined the crew officially.

Although d'Booty rarely goes pirating at sea, he maintains a large smuggling operation through his shipping company and finances many of the ships within the Brethren. He also uses his title to obtain the proper legal papers for the captains and their vessels.

Captain Black Roger

Pirate Lord of Lake Erie

Born of English descent, Black Roger was raised with the slaves on the sugar plantations of the Bahamas. Learning about human nature and the customs of many a varied folk, he soon put his skills to work when he secretly found his way onto a ship. When taken by pirates, he came to the company of Calico Jack, Anne Bonny, and Mary Read where he earned his name, their favor, and Anne's treachery. Set adrift to find his own lot, Black Roger would eventually earn his title of "Pirate Lord of Lake Erie" by his own hand.

Graybeard

Pirate Lord of Lake Superior

Once a merchant out of Trent England, Prescott Ruess became henceforth known as Graybeard when his ship was overtaken by the Merry Raven. It was here he learned his seafaring skills earning the rank of Quartermaster aboard the Warrick. Upon taking the Dutch ship Klouth, he was promoted to Captain and refitted her naming her teh Red Ruby after his favorite gemstone. Because of his English birthright, England granted him his letter of Marque. With that he and his wife - first mate Keeley LeBlanc, helped England establish itself as a major sea power in the Caribbean. On Port Royal he met with his old mate The Dutchmen where they struck up an accord with Governor Henry Morgan and joined the Brethren becoming Pirate Lords of the Great Lakes.

The Dutchmen

Pirate Lord of Lake Ontario

The legend of the famous Dutchmen begins as a fourth generation shipbuilder who assisted anyone in their time of need. Once such occasion of providing assistance to his distant cousin Willem of Orange amounted to a letter of Marque. Hence the Dutchmen became borne of the sea and took to helping his friends on the 'Merry Raven'. Each ship they took he retrofitted and improved this or that making ships better, faster, and stronger including the Flying Dutchmen. He built shipyards in each port they visited growing his family's small business into a massive network of Bolts Shipyards all across the Netherlands, Port Royale, Hollygrove, and several other portside towns. Known for his larger than life ensembles and his gregarious nature, the Dutchmen is usually accompanied by his wife and Captain 'Barracuda de' Morte' as well as the other four Pirate Lords.
